TRIBUS GRAPHICS

As a professional Graphic Animator, I create illustrations that are as vivid and alive as the scenes I picture in my mind. Hello, I'm Vincent Pergoot and i'm a master student animation at the LUCA School Of Arts Brussels. I've always been passionate with drawing. I started drawing houses and landscapes because i was interested in architecture. Trough high school i realized i didn't want to get stuck with the math an the physics of reality and decided to study something where i could be free to create any thing without it having to be plausible (or even realistic for that matter). I also have been a life long admirer traditional animation. I particularly like series liked tom & jerry, Looney Toones, old Disney shorts and the more recent serie Rick & Morty. I liked the comedy in them and would like to transfer some happiness and comedy in my future work. My further goals is to develop a style that is unique and my own. Aryz, McBess, Simon Stalengagh and Saching Teng are artist who inspire me in finding that style. During my scholarship i wanted to test everything i could before choosing what i wanted to become in the professional world. I've tried stop-motion, Pixilation, rotoscopy, after-effects, frame-by-frame, 3D and a mix of all of them but this year i wanted to try to make a game and see how far i could get. This is what i will be my field of work for my last year as a student. And i like to squash a lot.
